I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the staff who helped make for an extremely enjoyable stay. This country inn is beautiful and a credit to the owners and staff. The food is of the highest quality and property and gardens are maintained immaculately. The room I stayed in was also lovely and was equipped with everything I needed. The sleepy village location is lovely and just a short drive to Carlisle. I would stay again without hesitation. Many thanks - Gary W
Fantastic inn only a few miles from Carlisle in the beautiful countryside village of Talkin. And within easy distances to great walking tracks and Hadrians wall.Beautiful Tarn in the village for an early lakeside stroll was a great start to the day!Comfortable and clean roomGreat breakfast to complete our stay too.- Kathleen M
Booked as night stay on way to Stranraer.In a beautiful village,pub next to village green. Car park adjacent.Warm welcome.
